Mecklenburg County Democratic representative Drew Saunders had this to say about the effect of gifts on the legislative process: ""Even the baby Jesus accepted gifts, and I don't think it corrupted him."
Well, put for a Jesus/baby-faced representative. I just hope he gets an advance on the gold and myrhh he'll surely receive in heaven for his unique and pragmatic extrication of modern theological questions.
